Regional Relief and Recovery Fund
Out of the $110 million allocated to ACOA through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF), $43.3 million will be provided to the CBDC network to support main street businesses and retailers in small, rural and remote communities throughout Atlantic Canada.
Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) are not-for-profit community-based organizations that provide targeted services to entrepreneurs who require customized financing not normally available from traditional sources. In normal times CBDCs focus on the development, expansion and modernization of small businesses by providing financial and technical services to entrepreneurs. During these challenging times we’re focused on helping with the economic recovery of rural Atlantic Canadian businesses and getting small business owners through the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the next few days the CBDC Network will be creating a web portal to offer you the convenience and ease of applying online and make the RRRF application process as streamlined as possible; we appreciate your patience as we prepare to accept applications online at www.cbdc.ca soon.
CBDCs are proud to be a supporter of rural Atlantic Canadian businesses and we believe the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund, along with your resilience and tenacity as small business owners, will be an important step in our region’s economic future.
