Workplace Education Program
Are you a business owner struggling with critical workplace skills, or looking for a cost-effective way to train employees? Are you an employee looking to upgrade your workplace skills?
The Workplace Education Program provides training in over 30 business topics. Any working Nova Scotian is eligible to participate, so business owners, managers and employees may participate.
Programs include 40 hours of instruction (4 hours per week for 10 weeks) and most are now offered online.
The programs are offered throughout the province by local partners and is funded through the Canada-Nova Scotia Workforce Development Agreement. Programs are valued at over $5,000 and are offered for free or for a very low cost.
In our region, Workforce Education is offered by: East Hants & District Chamber of Commerce, Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce, Avon Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Women's Business Network.
