Business Essentials Training #2 - The Art of Collecting Delinquent Accounts with Paul Cyr
CBDC Central PEI is pleased to offer our new “Business Essentials Training” sessions! These sessions will cover various aspects of doing business on PEI from start-up and every step thereafter.
Our second session, “The Art of Collecting delinquent accounts” will be held, in-person on February 7, 2023. Learn a few tricks of the trade that will help you lower your risk and improve your cash flow! An overview will be given on how you can reduce risk as well as collect those delinquent accounts in a cost-effective and timely manner.
This session will be led by Paul Cyr. He has served in various positions for 30 plus consecutive years in the Credit & Collection Industry. His roles have included Area Manager for Financial Collection Agencies Limited, Area Manager for Credifax of Canada Limited and Area Manager for Equifax Canada Inc. Paul has also served for 6 years as President for the Atlantic Chapter of the Credit Institute of Canada.
Having received his designation of FCI from the Credit Institute of Canada in 2000. Paul also received the Certificate of Merit from the Credit Institute of Canada for his involvement as Conference Chairman for one of the most financially successful events in history for the Credit Institute when the Atlantic Chapter hosted the National Credit Conference in Charlottetown, PEI in 2005.
Paul retired from the industry in 2017 and moved from Moncton to Summerside PEI to spend more time with his 4 grandchildren. Today Paul spends his time as the owner of Auction Owls Inc. an online auction company based in Kensington PEI.
