The NB Association of CBDCs is seeking an: Office Coordinator
Some of the responsibilities of this student position include, among others:
- Providing administrative support to the staff of the NB Association of CBDCs and Women in Business NB Development Officers in their projects and initiatives;
- Managing records and acting as a coordinator for the organization’s new data collection system;
- Standardize the nomenclature and hierarchy of our internal computer network;
- Research of statistics related to entrepreneurship in New Brunswick;
- Generate an inventory list of office supplies and technology equipment;
- Assisting with the logistics and planning activities for the two organizations;
- Assisting with website content management and social media;
- Taking notes during meetings;
- Other related tasks.
Conditions of employment: Temporary, Full-time, Day
- Salary: $17.00 (35 hours per week)
- Scheduled starting date: June 2023, for a period of 8 weeks
- Job location: Bathurst, New Brunswick
- Skills required: Very good computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other software. Knowledge of social media tools. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in both English and French.
- Education: College or university education (business administration could be an asset).
To be eligible, student must:
- This position is for a qualified student under the Canada Summer Jobs program.
- The applicant must be a full-time student of 30 years old or younger, returning to full-time studies in the fall 2023-2024.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulation.
