Program Coordinator
Are you looking for a new challenge? The New Brunswick Association of Community Business Development Corporations (NBACBDCs) is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and motivated individual to fill the position of Program Coordinator.
The NBACBDCs is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to help New Brunswick entrepreneurs build successful and sustainable businesses. For over 40 years, CBDC programs have become essential tools for the business community and rural businesses in New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will have as main mandate to implement the key components of various NBACBDCs’ projects by supporting and maintaining all deliverables.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement various program delivery and support processes to administer all application intakes.
- Budget monitoring and forecast while collaborating with finance team.
- Preparation of information needed for marketing tools, and collaboration with the communications team.
- Process analysis for efficiency and teamwork while finding solutions.
- Working with various partners to ensure related programs are being delivered to expected standards.
- Collect all information related to objectives and prepare progress reports.
- Attend program meetings and other related events.
- Answer any new information request about the programs.
- Ensure constant follow-up with clients and other involved parties.
- Provide client support and customer service for various programs.
Profile of the Candidate
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in project coordination
- Extensive customer service experience or an equivalent blend of education and customer care experience
- Excellent knowledge of the entrepreneurial environment, particularly related to small and medium-sized businesses.
Skills and Personal Qualities
- To be innovative, creative and have the ability to generate new ideas.
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Possess organizational skills, including time management, planning; ability to set objectives and follow-ups in addition to managing data.
- Ability to identify opportunities and solve problems.
- Basic knowledge of website management, analytics and SEO
- Strong computer skills (MS Office suites, etc.)
- Results-based approach
- Flexibility and willingness to work occasionally outside normal office hours.
- Great autonomy and ability to work on several files at the same time.
- Occasional travel required for events and meetings.
