Another CBDC Success Story - Island Spaw and Kennels

When Tamara Currie launched Tamara’s Pet Parlor in 2010 she never imagined how rewarding this experience would become.  Her passion for her job is evident in the amazing service she provides to her clients. 
The summer of 2010 Tamara began the process of getting started with the support and help through CBDC West Prince Ventures Limited, SEB Program, and Career Development Services.  She attended meetings, did her homework and prepared her business plan.  Through the assistance of CBDC she was able to renovate at the new location for the opening day on November 9th, 2010.  She also stated that CBDC’s “low-interest rate loans and flexible terms have allowed me to get the parlor set up the way I wanted, providing clients with the top of the line grooming equipment and a pleasant and relaxing environment.”

When Tamara speaks about her plans for the future she is quick to say “I’m in love with what I do and have many ideas for the future, as my mind never shuts down.  Stay tuned for more to come!”
