At the Gala de la PME on October 26, the CBDC Madawaska presented the Madawaska 2024 Youth Entrepreneur Award to Frédéric Plourde, owner of Plourde Déménagement et Entreposage.

At the age of 20, he went into business at the end of his 2nd year of university, running a company in the professional moving services industry, offering residential, commercial, long-distance and specialized moving, packing and storage services. Warehousing is a new service recently acquired a commercial lot and built two specialized storage buildings.

Six years later, he wins this award. He is very grateful to have grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, and to have had his family as a role model, a source of encouragement and motivation.
