For more than 35 years the restaurant – which is the only one in the area – is known for its burgers, seafood, and breakfasts. Noseworthy says she’s added daily specials as well as special desserts to great success. And wing night is a regular sell out event!
Noseworthy knows her restaurant is a gathering place for the community. It’s where families and friends can have a great meal and spend time together; in a community where opportunities to do so are limited. One valuable community connection was that which she made with CBDC Nortip, which helped with the growth and customization of the GNP Diner.
“(CBDC) helped me with guidance in getting started from the financial side down to the accounting side and still continue to offer their services as I continue to operate and grow my business into the future,” Noseworthy says.
Noseworthy took advantage of several CBDC Nortip programs, including the First-Time Entrepreneur Loan as well as the SEA Program, which can help new business owners to continue to receive their Employment Insurance Benefits while going through the process of launching a new business.
