Asante Freight and Exports Lines win 2019 Atlantic Business Award of Distinction
Asante Freight Lines & Exports Ltd. of Truro, Nova Scotia being awarded the 2019 CBDC Atlantic Business of Distinction. The award was presented to company owner Dr. Ernest Korankye of Asante Freight Lines & Exports Ltd. at a luncheon held during the 2019 Atlantic CBDC Annual General Meeting and Conference hosted at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel on Thursday, September 12th.
Asante Freight Lines & Exports Ltd. was vying for this award with three other Atlantic Canadian companies each representing their respective provinces which included Garderie École de la petite enfance, New Brunswick, Copper Bottom Brewing, Prince Edward Island and Murray Meadows Farm of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Asante Freight Lines & Exports Ltd. is determined to keep their customer's freight moving. With plans to continues to grow and expand and it won’t just be into freight forwarding either. While in university, Korankye’s research involved post-harvested food. AFL’s new development will include a lab where he will lead a research project into how the shelf life of food might be extended into the offseason.
With CBDC’s help, Korankye and Asante Freight Lines & Exports Ltd. may soon be transporting farmers’ incomes upward and sowing seeds for money into the provincial economy.
